Hello All,

For the third year we have partnered with the Niagara Celtic Festival in Olcott NY to participate in this excellent event. It has become a hybrid of re-enactment and public demonstration that has become a popular weekend. The weather was excellent, we had a good turnout and our camp looked really good. The numbers of public and their interest continued to grow, likely topping 10,000 for the weekend.

From a program standpoint, we did several tactical scenarios and weapon demonstrations daily which were well attended and well received. We added some civilian components including a ladies tea which were well received. The public are enthusiastic and many eager to learn at this event!. Unfortunately we had no tall ship to land the Prince this year but still, he was well received at his arrival. Our dusk cannon demonstration was particularly excellent but overall everything went great. We even made the cover of the event's program. Finally, the Saturday evening ceileigh featuring the Glengharry Bhoys under the stars was amazing.

Thank you to Clan Cameron for hosting and Gordon Hubbell, in particular, for organizing, you did an amazing job. A cheer for them-hip, hip huzzah x3 Participating in the event were the Camerons, Clan MacGregor, HRH Prince Charles' staff and MacFarlane's Company.

There is interest in having another fall '45 event and perhaps even resurrecting the popular Clan Wars event so stay posted for that. Details are being worked out.

For God
For Scotland
and for King James
